Update on the crash…
Turns out that the driver, Mr. Pabst, got on the freeway going the right way and missed his exit. So he made a u-turn and started back, going the wrong way.
So these spike strips, that Gov. Richardson wants on the offramps, would not have prevented this accident in any way. Unlike he claims they would have.
This is such an obvious and sad example of using a tragedy to try and advance his political career.
